About The Greatest Generator (2023)
Our first attempt at a doppelbock was tasty but too low in ABV to truly be the doppelbock of our dreams so we set it down to slumber in Templeton Rye Whiskey barrels for 6 months. It emerged from it’s oaken chrysalis as a stronger, bolder, more whiskyish doppelbock with notes of pome fruit, toffee, dark caramel. At 9.7% ABV this doppelbock’s soothing, warming character pairs perfectly with dark, chilly evenings.
