Denver Airport

The Denver International Airport (about 20 miles from downtown Denver) came in sixteen months behind schedule and around $2,000,000,000 over budget. The complex holds more than 100 gates for arrivals and departures and covers over 52 square miles (8 more than San Francisco county!). The colossal size of the airport and reports of a secret network of underground tunnels including at least 5 underground “storage” buildings have made D.I.A. a popular topic for conspiracy theorists.

This vast complex is rumored to secretly be a place for the wealthy to wait out the Apocalypse, or a place for Masons and the Illuminati to gather after a global pandemic, or a part of the U.S. gov’t continuity contingency plan or a place where the Deep State conducts extraterrestrial  research.
