About Recurring Nightmare
Lurking in the darkest corners of our Palace of Barrels, Recurring Nightmare sleeps but never dies. It re-emerges only when it’s ready. The 2021 edition is a blend of 60% fresh stout, and 40% barrel-aged stouts that have slumbered for different numbers of years in High West, Willets and Heaven Hill whiskey barrels. Each glass contains a bit of every barrel-aged stout we’ve ever produced. Our company history is encoded in the flavors of roasty malt, oak, ethanol and time.
